Meeting times for the various boards, commissions, and committees of Lower Burrell are as follows:
- City Council Agenda Meeting: 1st Monday of each month at 7 pm
- City Council Meeting: 2nd Monday of each month at 7 pm
- Municipal Authority: 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm
- Parks Commission: 4th Monday of each month at 7 pm
- Planning Commission: 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7 pm
- Recycling Task Force: 2nd Wednesday in March, June, September and December at 7 pm
- Zoning Hearing Board: 3rd Monday of each month at 7 pm

9 am to 5 pm weekdays, except holidays. Secured mail drops are located in the Lobby of the Treasurer’s Office and Outside City Hall for after hours use.

Lower Burrell is located approximately 20 to 25 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.
From Pittsburgh
- Take Route 28N to Exit 14
- Continue forward through the next 2 traffic lights
- Cross the Tarentum-New Kensington Bridge
- Turn left at the 3rd traffic light

- Proceed on Leechburg Road through 2 traffic lights
- Approximately 0.6 miles after the 2nd traffic light, turn right on Schreiber Street
From Greensburg
- Take Route 66N to Route 366W, to Route 56W, to Route 366W to next traffic light
- Turn right on Leechburg Road, approximately 1.2 miles
- Turn right on Schreiber Street

Burrell Lake Park is located off of Delberta Road: follow Puckety Church Road past the middle school and high school, and follow the posted signs to reach the park. You may also visit the Burrell Lake Park page to obtain online driving directions and view a video tour of Fisher Hall.
A pavilion or Fisher Hall may be rented by using CivicRec through the new website.

K-9 Officer Derek Kotecki Memorial Park is located on Wildlife Lodge Road. There are 2 different directions to the park:
- Turn on to Wildlife Lodge Road and drive past Burrell Plaza to the park on the left
- Exit Leechburg Road onto Edgecliff Road, proceed to the bottom and make a right turn; the park is on the right

After the City, county and school property taxes are paid, you can apply for a Property Tax Rebate from the state the following year.

Any resident 18 and over pays $15 as long as they still keep their residency in Lower Burrell.

You can apply for an exemption form from the Burrell Senior High School business office. The exemption is based on age (65 years or older) and income, which is under $10,000. A disability can also exempt to you, however, it is at the discretion of the Burrell School District upon request.
