This is a program that has been in the City of Lower Burrell for a long time. We pride ourselves with watching over the children and traffic flow as it pertains to the school zones. The school zones are located on Leechburg Road at Bon Air School and Stewart School, and on Puckety Church Road near the secondary school buildings. The speed limit during the beginning and end of school is 15 mph. This can be identified by the lighted speed limit signals placed on both sides of the road in front of the schools. The hours of operation for the schools’ lighted signs are as follows:

Bon Air and Stewart Schools
8:30 a.m. – 9:10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. – 4:10 p.m.
Burrell High School & Huston Middle School
7:00 a.m. -- 8:15 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.
